Throwback Thursday to fall 2017 and the Love Lock

Throwback Thursday to fall 2017 and the Love Lock sculpture in Toronto's Distillery District. They're weren't a lot of locks on the sculpture when I visited but I've seen photos of other times when the letters were completely covered with locks. I believe the locks may be cut off and removed when the sculpture becomes too full so people can start adding locks again.

Walker's Forgotten Quarry Garden was a silver medal winner at the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show. Continuing on the Chelsea Flower Theme of this week - the week when the 2020 show would have happened. This garden featured rusting industrial elements with nature reclaiming the space around them.

The M&G Garden at the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show in

The M&G Garden at the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show in London, England. It won the title of Best Show Garden. Inspired by nature’s power to regenerate, the woodland garden featured various shades of green planted in a free-flowing naturalistic style. Burnt-oak timber was fashioned to resemble rock formations. This year's show has been cancelled (although the Royal Horticultural Society is posting different digital content daily this week - when the 2020 show had been scheduled to take place). I am so happy I was able to see the 2019 show.
