Rendezvous In Morden

Eatery and taproom in Morden, Manitoba, Canada
On Stephen Street, the main street in the downtown area of Morden, Manitoba, Canada, you’ll find Rendezvous Taproom and Eatery. With a warm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere, it serves its own craft beers, guest craft beers, other drinks, and a selection of food items that includes soup, fish tacos, wings, nachos, lettuce wraps, salads, sandwiches, pasta, butter chicken, chicken fingers, steak, and a Korean rice bowl.

Rendezvous makes only four beers: Clocktower Ale (crisp, easy-drinking), Arlington Ale (traditional amber), Stephen Street Sour (berry beer with a hint of sour), and Underwood IPA (classic citrus and floral notes of a traditional IPA with a crisp finish). Guest taps, usually Manitoba-made, are also available as are wine, cocktail, non-alcoholic beverages, and cider from Dead Horse Cider, made about 15 kilometres away just outside of Winkler, Manitoba.

Tasting flights with 4 5-oz pours are available for Rendezvous beer and for other beers on tap. Instead of a flight, my friend and I opted to try just two beers. We each ordered a different Rendezvous beer and asked for extra glasses to divide the beers between the two of us. We ordered Clocktower Ale and Arlington Ale. We liked both brews. There were clean-tasting and refreshing.

Rendezvous calls its food menu elevated comfort food. Meals are made from scratch. Mac and cheese was one of menu items when we visited. I ordered that. My friend had a burger. We both enjoyed our meals.

Rendezvous hosts a variety of events.

I had stopped in at Rendezvous when I was on a day trip in the area. I would certainly wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Morden is approximately 130 kilometres southwest of Winnipeg.

Sounds good. I’d go for the Arlington Ale.
